Janet Mitsui Brown

JanetJanet is a life-long artist. She is an author/illustrator of a children’s book entitled Thanksgiving at Obaachan’s, a columnist in two Southern California online news journals, Culver City Crossroads & California Crusader News, and a published writer in the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles based Rafu Shimpo newspaper, and other journals.

Janet is also the co-owner of Tani B Productions, Inc., a film/publishing production company, and its subsidiary The Joy of Feng Shui, where she is the principal practitioner, advising individuals and businesses on how to enhance their lives utilizing Feng Shui principles.

Janet is a tai chi international gold medalist, and continues to study with the Wushu Center in Los Angeles and Hanzhou, China. Janet formally studies Feng Shui with Helen & James Jay at Feng Shui Designs, Master Larry Sang of the American Feng Shui Institute, and His Holiness Grandmaster Lin Yun and Her Holiness Khadro Crystal Chu Rinpoche and their disciples, with the Yun Lin Temple.

Based on her experiences, Janet offers consultations in tai chi gong, feng shui, and meditation.  Her writings on these subjects can be viewed on her website, and in her ongoing news columns. Janet works with her husband, actor Roger A. Brown, and her daughter Tani, a writer, formerly with Google, and presently a Fulbright Scholar in Southeast Asia.
